An Exercise in Self-Indulgence

Friday Flower Update

Posted on 2025-05-30 By RB

Despite the drought conditions we’ve been dealing with here in North Florida, I’ve still had a nice showing from the wildflowers and other plants in my yard. I can only imagine how many more would be popping up around the garden if we’d had a normal rainfall this spring.

But I’m not complaining. There isn’t much I like better than to step outside and see these splashes of colorful shapes looking back at me. Something about the colors swaying in the breeze just makes me feel good. Natural therapy.

So without further ado…

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Let me know if you have a favorite!

Thanks, Pat. I scattered a wide variety of seeds earlier this year in the hopes I’d get good results.
