Happy New Year!

I hope that my visitors, followers, and subscribers were able to end 2019 on a positive note and that it carries over into 2020.

Our lives all have ups and downs, good days and bad, but none of it lasts for very long. I look at life as a roller coaster. We have those long, slow rides to the top of the hill where we can see everything and the view is amazing. But it passes and we quickly slip down into a valley where our view of the wonderful, wide world is obscured. Luckily, our momentum carries us through this downtime and pushes us up the next hill.

Kinda silly, I know, but it’s not far from reality.

We have to keep that in mind…good times will pass, but so will the bad. In the end, it all balances out. The main thing is that we keep our focus on the good stuff, the good times, the good people.

I hope that 2020 is a great year for you, that you accomplish your goals, that you find balance in your life, and that you appreciate the kindness that you find.

And if you would, please practice random acts of kindness. Doesn’t matter if it’s for someone you know or a complete stranger. An unexpected act of kindness can brighten a person’s day…and maybe even change their life.
